Get ready to play: Golf season is in full swing in City Limitless®! Get away and stay at the Four Points by Sheraton at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, where you can find the Toka Sticks Golf Club, a full-service golf club with an enjoyable 18-hole layout.

At Toka Sticks Golf Club visitors can experience the challenges of a desert golf course including plays from 6,000 yards on fairways guarded by mature palm trees. Fun fact: This course is one of the original historic golf clubs, built more than 60 years ago by Air Force personnel when the area served as a WWII Air Force base.

Historical toka sticks

Today, Toka Sticks Golf Club is fully grassed from tee to green, and plays from 5,185 - 6,900 yards on level fairways guarded by stands of mature eucalyptus, mesquite, palm and Palo Verde trees.  Though subtle, the challenges from this layout merit the attention of every player. Toka Sticks Golf Club has a renowned reputation for its smooth and fast putting surfaces. Green complexes range from allowing chip-and-run approaches, to requiring a precise approach shot to the correct level of tiered greens. Water is also in play on four holes including two par 3’s which are partially surrounded and require an accurate tee shot. For those who like to walk the course during their round, Toka Sticks allows and encourages walkers at all times during the day.

For those that want to brush up on their skills before taking to the greens, Toka Sticks Golf Club offers a practice facility with various instruction options including PGA teaching professionals.

You don’t have to travel far to make the most out of your vacation! You can even stay on-site at the Four Points by Sheraton at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, right where the Toka Sticks Golf Club is located, so you don’t have to miss out on a minute of play. Learn more about the Four Points here.
