It’s almost time for the week that kids in school can’t wait for… Spring Break! We’ve rounded up our favorite kid-friendly experiences City Limitless® that don’t just make Spring Break fun, but make learning fun too!
Mesa’s many museums make it easy to keep on learning and exploring through Spring Break. Visit the Superstition Mountain Museum in nearby Apache Junction where you’ll learn about the tall tales and recorded history of the famous, mysterious Lost Dutchman gold mine. Maybe you want to go a little further back in history? Visit the award winning Arizona Museum of Natural History and view their fine collection of dinosaurs and Native American dwellings and pottery. You can see a full list of the museums in City Limitless, here.
I.D.E.A. Museum is an educational hands-on art museum for the whole family. Through May 29, children can learn about art and marine life in the hands-on art exhibit: Underwater FantaSEA.
After you learn about sea life, experience it at Sea Life Arizona, where your family can have close encounters with a variety of creatures including rays, sharks, tropical fish and seahorses!
A unique option for the family is Escape Adventure, a reality-based escape the room game. Whether you’re learning about the Patriot Path or journeying through Africa, your kids will be learning during these adventures without even realizing it!
If you’re visiting City Limitless® a little later in the spring, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Arizona, opening April 22, is going to be great for kids who love to experience hands-on activities! With one million LEGO® bricks, LEGO® themed rides, a 4-D cinema and themed build-and-play areas, this new attraction will provide a world of creativity and learning for young children.
Be sure to share your Spring Break fun with us on social media using #MesaCityLimitless; we love to see families having fun here in City Limitless®!
