99% of the 2013 route follows the same scenic course as last year with the beautiful and rugged backdrop of the Salt River Recreation Area and Tonto National Forest , circumnavigating the East Valley's most recognizable landmark, Red Mountain. The Start/Finish Line is still in downtown Mesa, AZ on Center Street moved about one hundred yards north from 2012 to just north of 2nd Street.
The short "main event" distance: 28 miles.

The distance features a "remote" start at Red Mountain Ranch Elementary
School: 6650 Raftriver in Mesa, close to Thomas and Bush Hwy. It will finish in downtown Mesa, AZ with the other events. We hope to have a shuttle from the finish line back to the school but nothing is finalized yet. Please plan to get yourself back to the school after you finish. If/when a shuttle is finalized, it will be announced here. You can also ask about it at Packet Pick Up/Expo.
The FUN RIDES: 10 miles (new!), 4 miles and 1/4 miles.
Start time: 11:00 a.m .
Starting and finishing in downtown Mesa, AZ, these short, fun events are ideal for the new or inexperienced cyclists or those who just want to be part of the fun. The 10 and 4-milers are for everyone and features an easy course for adults and kids of all ages. The 1/4 mile features a fun activities course for the little ones. New Finish Line - just a bit north of the 2012 finish line... Downtown Mesa, AZ is still the site for the Finish line on Center Street.
