Baseball
Mesa shines as one of the premier baseball event hosts in the Valley of Sun with 8 parks featuring a combined total of 26 fields. Tournaments held in Mesa can utilize Hohokam Stadium, best known as the winter home of the Chicago Cubs and is Major League Baseball's most popular spring training venue. In addition to hosting Cactus League Spring Training, Hohokam Stadium is also the home of the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League and the WAC Men's Division I Baseball Tournament each year (2010-2012). Hohokam Stadium and the adjacent training facility, Fitch Park, seats 13,030 and includes one practice field and one practice infield. Additional standouts include the Gene Autry Sports Complex and Red Mountain Baseball Complex. Both venues offer premier facilities for field sports and tournaments.
