Light Rail, Buses & Taxis
Mesa is the first stop on the Valley’s Metro light rail system. Visitors can board the light rail at Sycamore Station (Main Street, east of Dobson Road) and connect to Tempe and Phoenix. The city of Mesa also offers The Downtown Buzz, a free neighborhood 11-passenger bus that connects visitors to major bus routes and other attractions in Mesa including Mesa Arts Center, Downtown, library and more. The Downtown Buzz runs every 40 minutes, Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m and every 60 minutes, Saturdays: 7 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Several taxi companies also operate in Mesa.
