El Tour de Mesa

It's finally the week of El Tour de Mesa! This Saturday, April 14 at 7am hundreds of cyclists will line up in downtown Mesa start a 70 mile race through Mesa, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, and Tonto National Forest. This route features some of the best scenery in the East Valley including Four Peaks, Red Mountain, the lower Salt River and much more. The inaugural Clover Cup hosted by Notre Dame is in the books! The University of Colorado Lady Buffs swept the prizes winning 1 st Place Team and the top 3 Individuals awards. One of their players even set the course record for women with a round of 6 under 66!   The Mesa CVB along with Longbow Golf Club partnered with the University of Notre Dame Women’s Golf program in hosting the Clover Cup. It is very addicting for those “pinning” craft ideas, home décor, planning weddings, and book marking places they would like to visit, and things they want to see. Mesa, a great city for active people!

Hi my name is James Tevault and I'm known as the office athletic guy that enjoys training and racing in the East Valley. This past November I finally completed one of my major accomplishments, Ironman Arizona. As exciting as an experience as that was I'm just excited about several upcoming events including the Rock n Roll Arizona Marathon which is every January.
