Garlic tends to get a bad rap for being stinky, but even vampires won’t be able to stay away from the 3rd Annual Garlic Fest at Queen Creek Olive Mill.
For three years, Queen Creek Olive Mill has been planting garlic, doubling or even tripling the size of their garden each year. With 7,000 bulbs of organically grown garlic this season there will be no shortage of garlic-infused food. Valley food trucks will be featuring garlic dishes and Udder Delights will be providing locally made garlic gelato. Meet the farmers and enjoy cooking demos by owners, Perry and Brenda Rea.
If garlic isn’t your thing, don’t shy away from this event! There will be live music, a wine and beer garden, tours of the Olive Mill, and games in the grove.
And don’t worry, breath mints will be provided.
