Fun fact: In Chinese culture peach blossoms are considered good luck and they symbolize a state of intense love.

Before peaches begin to grow on trees their pink and white blossoms adorn the branches—and that’s why the Peach Blossom Celebration was created! Schnepf Farms started the Peach Blossom Celebration so that visitors could enjoy the beauty of their farm while hundreds of their trees are in bloom.

The Celebration begins February 4, 2017 and lasts until February 26. Admission into the Celebration is $3 per person.

What to do:

  • Enjoy a $5 guided hayrides with farm owner Mark Schnepf through the orchard with the best bloom—time will be allotted for picture taking
  • Take a relaxing walk through a trail toward the orchards in bloom
  • Take a 13-minute train ride through one of the orchards
  • Stop by the Country Store and Bakery to snack on their famous peachy cinnamon rolls and peach pies or pick up a jar of all natural peach blossom honey

Don’t forget to snap some photos during the Celebration—we want to see them! Use the hashtags #VisitMesa and #FreshFoodieTrail to share with us.
