i.d.e.a. Museum

Effective 4/6/20: In the interest of public health and safety amidst this unprecedented situation, our intermission will be a little longer than we originally anticipated. The City of Mesa has extended the closure of its recreation centers, museums, convention center, Mesa Amphitheatre, libraries and Mesa Arts Center through September 30.

The fun, inspiring, and educational hands-on art museum for children and families traveling to Mesa, Arizona. Their museum includes popular art and art-inspired activities, while adding science, engineering and design-thinking in the multi-sensory experiences provided with an increased use of technology to support these offerings and even more opportunities for families to create together.

While visiting, take time to enjoy imaginative play in ArtVille (our socks-only space aimed at little ones 4 and younger). Plus, check out a variety of cool hands-on activities - from building on Rigamajig and orchestrating music to creating Urban Art and stop-motion movies - in our HUB Gallery.
