Whether you’re here for an active vacation, a weekend wedding, a corporate retreat, or just to relax and unwind, Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch is the perfect destination.
On the shaded lawn you’ll find a heated swimming pool and shuffleboard court. We also have a ping-pong table, horseshoes, croquet, badminton, and volleyball available.
On the banks of the river you’ll find our stables and horse corrals, where guests are introduced to their horses before heading out on our desert trails. Our trail rides operate seasonally from October 1st through May 1st.
If you’re here in the warmer months, try your hand at kayaking the Lower Salt River (May through September) or the beautiful Saguaro Lake (available year-round). And if you’ve never tried river tubing, this is your chance to savor the majestic Lower Salt River in all its glory as you serenely float downstream in a large inner tube, watching wildlife, chatting with friends and family, and enjoying the cool water and the warm sun. Tubing season runs from May to September.
We have numerous hiking trails, also perfect for trail running, in the area ranging from easy to extremely challenging. The area is also very popular with mountain bikers and road bicyclists, so feel free to bring your bike; or, we will be happy to recommend places in nearby Mesa to rent one.
