Mask Alive! Festival of Masks

The largest gathering of masked performers in the Southwest returns as an in-person festival this September!

Cultural Coalition is excited to offer this free festival showcasing local vibrant arts and culture organizations to the families and communities of Arizona. Each year, Mask Alive presents a variety of entertainment that spans the diverse cultures of the Valley, with dance, music, puppets and more, all presented by colorful masked performers.

Attendees can enjoy the powerful beats of Japanese Taiko drums with Ken Koshio, the colors and costumes of the Quetzalli Ballet Folklórico dancers, and the exciting rhythms of the Sankofa African music and dancers. Family arts and craft activities, local food trucks, and opportunities to join in the masked celebrations will also return as part of the festival.

Bring your whole family for an afternoon you won't forget!!
