Remembrance Day Ceremony

This annual public ceremony takes place around the gravesites of 24 Royal Air Force and American cadets who died while training at Falcon Field during World War II 1941-1945.  Visiting English families will be special guests. The ceremony includes a procession of bagpipes, presentation of the colors, invocations and presentations of wreaths by dignitaries.  The audience is addressed by Mesa Mayor John Giles as well as Queen Elizabeth's representative.  A flyover of historic T-6 and Stearman aircraft is performed by the Wings of Flight Foundation.
