Steve Cole

Saxophonist Steve Cole is one of the most celebrated players in contemporary jazz. The Chicago native exploded onto the scene in 1998 with Stay Awhile, which was produced by fellow Chicagoan Brian Culbertson. The album scored multiple hit singles and earned Cole the Oasis Smooth Jazz Award for Best New Artist.
His latest album, Smoke and Mirrors, brings together an all-star band that includes multi-instrumentalist David Mann, Cole’s longtime producer and cowriter. When he is not on the road, Cole teaches music industry entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. He is currently readying his 11th solo album, Without A Doubt, for release in October.
