Union32: Revlolver at the MIM

Union32 presents a fresh take on the great record Revolver, the 1966 Beatles recording. Highlights include a drum-and-bass version of “Eleanor Rigby,” an avant-garde jazz version of “Yellow Submarine” and a harmonically dense ballad of “And Your Bird Can Sing” that is reminiscent of the music of Bill Evans.

Led by Dr. Brett Reed, Union32 explores the rich musical traditions of various jazz composers and genres. For more than 10 years, Union32 has brought compelling music to audiences around the Southwest. Whether playing the music of West Coast jazz giants like Cal Tjader and Dave Brubeck, exploring Afro-Cuban jazz, or creating original jazz arrangements of classic rock records, Union32 presents vibrant and thrilling instrumental jazz music.
