The MCC Planetarium is proud to partner with local musical group Nouveau Papillon for two different live performances under the dome!

Prepare to embark on a dynamic journey of striking visualizations accompanied by live, New Age instrumental music from Nouveau Papillon.

VisionSphere’s portals will transport you through eleven immersive voyages: you’ll witness angels gliding through the heavens, experience a panoramic exploration of deep caves, gaze upon fractal art and steampunk images, then enter the mystical realm of the wolf and other wildlife and nature indigenous to Arizona.
As each experience concludes, a porthole will appear to guide you to the next destination; as a new song begins, the visuals align with the spirit of the music being performed.
Concert dates for Spring 2020 are January 17, February 21, and March 21. All shows begin at 7pm. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
Tickets are $20, including a free digital download of Nouveau Papillon's album "Enchantment Blooms". Please request a download card as you arrive at the planetarium.

Tranquil Soundscapes, Thunder of Silence - Tranquil Soundscapes is a unique 50-minute uninterrupted performance presented by Nouveau Papillon.
Thunder of Silence - Tranquil SoundscapesLet your mind and body be taken to a state of tranquility and well-being. Immerse yourself in the heavenly strings of electric harp performed by Mark Bensette Aux Bois and guitar and the melodic percussion with steel handpans and haunting Native American-style flutes performed by Saggio. This is the medicine of music: performance art reborn as sound immersion.Concert dates for Spring 2020 are January 18, February 22, and March 20. All shows begin at 7pm.
