Queen Creek Olive Mill Marketplace in Scottsdale, Arizona is looking for part-time Marketplace Associates to join our team and receive employee discounts! We are located at the Kierland Common Shopping Center, 7122 E Greenway Pkwy., Suite #120, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
We are urgently looking for the right individuals that are excited to learn all there is to know about extra virgin olive oil and share this knowledge with our customers. The Marketplace Associate's primary responsibility is to ensure our customers receive a great customer experience.
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and sales, cash handling, preparing products for sampling, stocking and cleaning. Being a foodie is a definite PLUS since the candidate will be describing our retail gourmet products and recommending selections to our customers.
Summary of Position
Adhere to company cleanliness standards through the utilization of daily opening and closing checklists and operational procedures. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, responsive service. Make each guest feel welcome and ensure each guest receives the highest level of customer service. Each associate’s objective is to show our guests a wonderful time, leaving them happy and wanting to visit again and again!
Responsibilities
Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance
Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
Advise customers by providing information on products
Process payments by totaling purchases; process checks, cash, and store or other credit cards
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Use judgment to solve customer problems
Maintain scheduling commitments
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
Friendly and outgoing personality
Excellent verbal skills
Able to problem solve as issues arise
