  Officials from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) awarded Mesa host duties for the 2010 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships, May 12-15, with practice rounds beginning May 10-11, 2010. City Seeking Host Duties for 2009 & 2013 City of Mesa officials have announced that Mesa was selected as a finalist to host the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division II Baseball Tournament in 2009 and 2013.
