Rodney Crowell
Two-time Grammy winner and Texas native Rodney Crowell has more than 40 years of American roots music under his belt. He has written 15 number one hits—five of them for himself—and his legacy of distinctly universal and literary writing has made him an icon.
Crowell has strong roots in country music, and he has written chart-topping hits for country stars such as Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Keith Urban, and more. But he has also penned beloved songs for artists as diverse as Bob Seger, Etta James, the Grateful Dead, John Denver, Jimmy Buffett, and countless others.
Crowell is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and was honored with ASCAP’s prestigious Founder’s Award in 2017. His latest album, The Chicago Sessions, was released in May.
