E14: Rhonda Rajsich - Women in Sports
In this episode, we celebrate the Olympic year with Mesa’s very own Rhonda Rajsich, the most decorated professional racquetball player in U.S. history. Nothing says U-S-A quite like an Olympic gold medalist!

"Racquetball is not in the Olympics...yet!"
When you think of racquetball greatness, the name Rhonda Rajsich stands tall. An Arizona native and the most decorated professional racquetball player in U.S. history, Rhonda has built a legendary career that’s anything but ordinary. From sneaking onto the court as a child to competing on the world stage, her journey is defined by passion, determination, and a little bit of mischief.
Though she started off focusing on basketball (and still claims she’s better at it), racquetball eventually captured her heart. Growing up in a family with deep ties to professional sports—from baseball to golf to basketball—Rhonda always had competition in her blood. But it was racquetball that would lead her to national and global recognition.
Today, Rhonda plays both singles and doubles, using her platform to stand up for female empowerment and inspire others. While racquetball may not yet be part of the Olympics, she continues to dominate at the World Championships every two years, proving she’s a force to be reckoned with.
