The Rose Garden at Mesa Community College

Details

This is the Desert Southwest's largest rose garden, where roses bloom in the desert. Host to nearly 9000 rose bushes and one of 26 AARS certified Demonstration and Test Gardens nationwide. The Rose Garden at Mesa Community College is not only a Mesa landmark but a centerpiece for community, education, and innovative economic initiatives in the East Valley. Students, kindergarten through high school and community college through university, use the Rose Garden as botanical laboratories and study areas. The best time to see the Garden is during the months of late March, April, May, June, November, and December. During January and February, and during September and October the Garden is heavily pruned and will therefore not be in bloom.
