Overview

Presented by Cultural Coalition and Desert Diamond Casino, in partnership with S'edav Va'aki, Museum, this annual festival features cultural performances of dance, music, and storytelling celebrating the engineering ingenuity of the canal system created by Ancestral Sonoran Desert People.
During the festival, attendees will enjoy additional programs including storytelling, artist demonstrations, tours of the museum and archaeological park, and family friendly arts and crafts that further explore the history and importance of water in the desert.
This event is free and open to all, including museum admission, thanks to support from Desert Diamond Casino, S'edav Va'aki Museum Foundation, Salt River Project, Raza Development Fund, Phoenix Office of Arts & Culture, Arizona Commission on the Arts, and Central Arizona Project.
