Revel Surf Junior Lifeguards Program

A week-long, hands-on lifeguard training experience for youth ages 12–16. Learn water safety, rescue skills, surf technique, and teamwork in Revel’s wave pool, led by certified lifeguards and instructors. Includes daily coaching, games, and end-of-session awards. This is a higher activity/ level class recommended for teens looking to improve their lifeguarding, leadership, and confidence.

Facility Closed until 11:00am. Parent/Guardian(s) may observe from our Beach Grill Patio.

JR Lifeguards is an immersive, week‑long training experience for motivated youth ages 12–16 who are ready to push their skills, confidence, and leadership to the next level. Each morning starts with a smooth check‑in, a team briefing, and warm‑ups that build strength, focus, and readiness for an action‑packed day.

Teens dive into advanced wave training and surf technique in Revel’s world‑class wave pool, guided by certified lifeguards and experienced instructors. Throughout the week, they practice real lifesaving skills, rescue drills, first‑aid basics, and teamwork challenges that mirror the responsibilities of professional lifeguards. Daily coaching keeps them progressing, while beach games, team competitions, and shared laughs keep the energy high and the experience unforgettable.

This isn’t just a skills course—it’s a confidence builder. Teens learn to trust themselves, communicate under pressure, support their teammates, and stay calm in challenging situations. Along the way, they form a tight‑knit group of friends, bonded by early mornings, shared victories, and plenty of fun in the sun.
