Revel Surf Mini Guards Program

Activity details
Mini Guards is an engaging beach safety and skills program designed for kids ages 10–13, held Monday–Friday from 4:00–6:00 PM. This program builds lifeguard fundamentals while encouraging independence, teamwork, and leadership through hands-on lessons, beach games, surf education, and water-based activities. Throughout the week, participants learn lifeguard responsibilities, first aid basics, water safety, and introductory surf skills, all while having fun in an active and supportive beach environment.

Parent/Guardian(s) may attend if desired and observe from our Beach Grill Patio area.

Highlights
Mini Guards at Revel Surf Mini Guards is the next level in our youth beach‑safety pathway, created for kids ages 10–13 who are ready for a little more challenge, independence, and leadership. Each afternoon follows a steady, parent‑friendly routine—welcoming participants in, mixing in games and snack breaks, and dedicating focused time to real lifeguard skills. Throughout the week, Mini Guards dive deeper into what it means to keep others safe around the water. They explore lifeguard responsibilities, practice first‑aid basics, learn water‑safety strategies, and build introductory surf and rescue skills—all through hands‑on lessons, active beach games, and engaging water‑based activities. The program encourages teamwork, problem‑solving, and growing confidence, while still keeping the experience playful, social, and full of beach‑day energy. Mini Guards gives pre‑teens a fun, supportive environment to stretch their abilities, discover new strengths, and take their beach awareness to the next level at Revel Surf.
