It's about MESA

This month, celebrate the 4th of July at Mesa’s annual Celebration of Freedom, named the “coolest” independence festival in Arizona! With Revolutionary War re-enactments, tailgate zones, fireworks and live music, it’s guaranteed to make a memorable All-American night for visitors and locals alike. On Tuesdays throughout the month, go back in time at the Elvis Chapel at the Superstition Mountain Museum with classic Western movie screenings. Kids on summer vacation should be sure to also visit the Arizona Museum of Natural History’s new exhibit, DinoZone. This playful exhibition features hidden tunnels, slides, green screens and awesome murals. The smallest visitors can have their pictures taken on the top of a triceratops.

Take part in Mesa’s reoccurring festivals including the Mesa Feastival Food Trucks at Pioneer Park, Movies on Main, Motorcycles on Main and Second Friday Night Out, a night of local art, music and celebrating Downtown Mesa’s creative scene.
