The Arizona Renaissance Festival is a local favorite for family fun and gives you a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather and sunshine! For baseball fans, you won’t want to miss seeing a Chicago Cubs or Oakland Athletics game during your Spring Break trip. Each year, the month of March brings thousands of baseball fans to Mesa for Major League Baseball Spring Training. The gorgeous spring weather here in Mesa sets the perfect scene for a day at the diamond. When you go, opt for a spot on the lawn over the stadium-style seats. You’ll save money and get more leg room to spread out. Plus, there’s nothing like lounging on the lawn in the sunshine while enjoying a nice, cool treat like an ice cream cone!
Bring your kids to train with the Knights of the realm at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Children will enjoy watching an exclusive weapons demonstration by our Knights and Weapons Master and learning about the grueling training it takes to become a Knight. Upon completion of their training your children will be knighted by Her Majesty, Queen Isabella in a group knighting ceremony.
Get ready for some Spring Break Fun at Golfland Sunsplash! The Castle Water Slides are open daily March 7th-29th for Spring Break. Enjoy the classic twist and turns of the Dragon-Tail Slides, race a friend on the Bonzi Speed Slides, or conquer the thrilling drop of the Cauldron!
For kiddos itching to get in the water, Riverbound Sports Paddle Co. is offering paddle lessons and games out at the scenic Saguaro Lake.
If you want a true Wild West experience, head over to Goldfield Ghost Town and walk around the historic old mining town, pan for gold then take a ride on Arizona’s only narrow gauge train. You’ll also get to witness an old west gun fight performed by the famous Goldfield Gunfighters!
All this adventuring is probably going to make you tired, so make sure you’ve got a nice and comfy bed to retire to: The Mesa Courtyard is a great place to stay with the kids. Your teens will love using the WiFi to share their favorite photos with their friends. The outdoor pool is a perfect spot to soak up the spring time sun!
