But that is not the only thing to do while you’re in Mesa, whether you are in town cheering on the Chicago Cubs, or rooting for the Oakland A’s, be sure to take some time to check out these local attractions:
Take a hike!
It is easy to fall in love with the Sonoran Desert scenery when you get out there and get active. Start trailblazing at these locations:

Explore some of our fan-favorite trails including the Native Plant Trail and the Jacob's Crosscut Trail. Prepare yourself for beautiful views of the unique desert vegetation!
• Wave Cave Via the Carney Springs Trailhead
Do you like feeling accomplished after a hike? Then take a walk through this one-of-a-kind trail and experience amazing views from a cave! It truly does have a grand finale!
The Peralta Trail is a very popular trail in the Superstition Wilderness. Explore beautiful scenery and capture close-up photos of Weavers Needle to show off to your friends back home!
This trail is perfect for all skill levels and offers amazing views of Saguaro Lake. Also, if you traveled here with your furry friend, the Butcher Jones Trail is accessible for dogs too!
Take your swing on the golf course!
