Mesa Arizona, will serve as the official Training Base Camp for the Türkiye Men’s National Team during FIFA World Cup 26.
Mesa is proud to welcome the Türkiye Men’s National Team as they train, prepare and reset in our city during FIFA World Cup 26. With Arizona Athletic Grounds serving as the official team training base, this moment puts Mesa on the global soccer map and gives our community a new reason to say, Hoş geldiniz, Türkiye.
Community Event
Join us for a Community Day welcoming the Türkiye Men’s National Soccer Team to Mesa as they train for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The FREE community event takes place Monday, June 8, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Arizona Athletic Grounds and will feature live music from Campbell Blue Creek, food and beverage options, kids soccer activations with Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club, family-friendly activities, Turkish food and artisan vendors, Ebru art demonstrations and more.
Fans will also have the opportunity to watch an open Team Türkiye practice at the AAG Stadium Soccer Field from approximately 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Practice viewing tickets are free, but limited, and online registration is required.
