The public is welcome to enjoy two aircraft viewing areas at the newly renovated airport terminal building: a patio behind the terminal and a separate lawn area on the east side of the building. Both areas face the aircraft parking ramp and offer close-up views of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. Free binoculars are available in both areas for an even better view as aircraft take off, land and hover! Free public parking is located in front of the terminal. The patio is open to the public 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and is accessible through the terminal lobby. The public lawn area is open daily and can be accessed directly from the terminal parking lot.
